want refund of my money

Hi There,

My Name is Amar Sorati an I am from Pune City on 25th Dec 2012 I have ordered online an New HTC Sensation Mobile From Rediff Shopping order no (7624181)and at that time on their website it was clearly mentioned that its Android OS Version is upgradeable to Android’s latest OS ICS. And This thing I confirmed with HTC Authorised Service Center for upgrading they told me its an Boot loaded mobile phone and cannot be upgraded.

Coming to main point after ordering the product on 1st of Jan 2013 I collected the Mobile Phone from Delivery People but after observing the phone it seemed it was an used phone and its body was damaged and also there was an white colour spot on the screen on the next day i.e on 2nd Jan 2013 I registered the Complaint on their customer care Complaint no (12652) and they told me that I will be receiving the call from them regarding the replacement but till date I haven’t received any call from them and when I was taking follow up with them on E-mail they are simply providing me an Answer your complaint is registered after 48 hours and hence cannot be entertained. Finally on 7th Feb 2013 I received a mail from Them stating your replacement has been approved and please send back the product to them via courier by my own money and they will be resending the product to me within 7 days again I have to bear the charges of Rs. 700 for octroi.

Now I don’t want the product from Rediff which is covered under Vendor warranty I request you to please help me in getting any branded product which will be covered under Manufacturer warranty because for every problem I cant send my Mobile to Kolkata and wait for a longer time OR help me in getting back my money.
