I am normally very patient and humble person who does not like to complain and trys to understand things.. but Vodafone has been successful in frustrating me to the max. To a point, where I need to write this.
I had Vodafone corporate post paid number : 9953898380. My Sim broke and I requested for new sim in Mid July by calling customer service but never received one. I called again stating, I don’t have sim so I don’t wish to get billed again and disconnect the number. In Oct, I got call saying I have balance of Rs. 953.29. I was surprised and I called customer service, they said my number is still active. I emailed on 10/01/2014 stating the same and requested for disconnection. In mail, it was mentioned I will receiver disconnection call. I did receive call where in the agent mentioned she will give me credit for 953.29 and she can send sim within 24 hours. I waited and waited but didn’t receive SimCard. SO I called and emailed on 18 Oct 2014, the 3rd time to disconnect. I had already paid 953.29 as the agent told me to pay now and I will get credit. Not to my surprise, there was no credit but huge bill for Rs.1149.98. I called customer service and they told me my number is still active. i again emailed and inform customer service for disconnection. I receive disconnection call , where the lady tried saving me by saying she can send sim in 24 hours and that she can give me credit of 1000. When I denied she disconnected the call. I called and was informed that my disconnection is in processso I am suppose to get disconnection call again.. so far I haven’t receive any call. When I call 111 or 198 they either disconnect my call or put my call on hold for hours and disconnect. Pathetic customer service and disconnection for a corporate number seems impossible as you wish to charge without reason. It is not one agent or two who are pathetic and incompetent, it is the whole company. I have all the proof required to file my case,right from emails since july to call recording. And I recommend people that if you planning to buy Vodafone… forget it. Activation will be easy but disconnection is impossible…the customer service team only know how to get more sale but doesn’t understand that one existing customer is more important then finding new customer. I hate Vodafone service to the core………………………………………………………….. if you vodafone is reading it ,, check all the notes and email i sent. you will feel ashamed for yourself as i tried everything.
