VIDEO DOOR PHONE SCREEN
I purchased a Video Door Phone (VDP) with 3 screens from M/s Accurate Security Solutions, 211, SGL Plaza, near D C Chowk, Sector 9 , Rohini, Delhi-110085 for Rs. 27500 vide Bill No. 2313 dated 10/12/2010 which in fact was installed at my residence on 20/12/2010. The equipment was delivered to me vide Challan No.1889 and 1893 both dated 10/12/2010. The payment for the same was made by me vide BOI, Parliament Street Branch Cheque No.45923 dated 22/12/2010 for Rs.27500/- and my account was accordingly debited for the same. One of the screens developed the audition problem and it went out of order in October 2011. I lodged a complaint with the company and they sent one of their mechanics. The defect, however, could not be removed and they sent their another mechanic after persuasion of 2 days. He told me that the screen would have to be taken for repair and it would be installed the very next day after repair. Since the mechanic had no challan book, no receipt for the same was given to me. I may add that the VDP was under one year warranty when it was taken away for repair. I contacted the company several times and I was told that it had been sent to the VIZOR Company for repairs. I finally contacted Mr. Kalla, CMD of the company who told me that the company is not cooperating with us. Many complaints are pending with them and you lodge a complaint with the Consumer Court and also make me a party to the case. As a last resort, I contacted the VIZOR Company (manufacturer of the product) who told me that they would look into it. They never gave any complaint number. I contacted Namrata and Vineeta of the VIZOR company several times but ultimately with no result. Thereafter, whenever I contacted them, they will always say that the concerned person is in meeting and we do not know when he will be free i.e. they always avoided my call on one pretext or other. My complaint could not be resolved even after a period of 8months and I am suffering on this account.
In view of the above, I request your good self to give me justice and direct the company either to refund me the cost of the screen or alternately install a new screen at my premises.
