I bought two ice cream MRP 35 each and they had taken total 72 ( Rs70(MRP)+2(vat)). I had discussed with them about this issue and they argued that vat is applicable on MRP in Tamil Nadu, and if I have any complaint I have to go and ask Government. So kindly clarify is vat is applicable on MRP, if not kindly help me to register this complaint. I have the bill of Rs 72 and MRP 70 details of purchased ice cream.
About the bill, they have given two bill of Rs31 and Re 41. Rs41 bill is for two ice cream and Rs31 as extra charge. Please treat this case on priority and settle.
