I took a matrix cellular card as i was going to Europe for my honeymoon in the month of may 2012. The sim card was taken from the counter of matrix at indira gandhi airport terminal 3. They took a safety deposit from my Axis bank credit card of Rs.10000 and told me about the calling rates and various other formalities. After i returned i got a bill for my sim card for Rs.65000 which was out of my expectation as the calling rates told to me were very less. When i called up at the matrix cellular customer support number they told me that the plan sold to me was not for the area i visited in Europe and is for different part of Europe so the calling was charged high. Then in few days i started to get messages on my mobile about the various transactions of money from my credit card done my matrix cellular ltd. which were not informed to me or were also not done by my permission. Just a single swipe at their counter on airport doesn’t give them any authority to withdraw money from my credit card when ever they wish. I even called up at the customer support of Axis bank and told them to block the credit card as i started to get so many transaction sms from matrix cellular. Now when i have received the statement of my credit card there is a bill payment of Rs.64831.09 charged without any notification to me. This is clearly a mistake of the employee of matrix cellular who didn’t even know what plan he has to sell me for the countries i was visiting or lack of responsibility of bank which let the matrix company charge money after being informed so many times from my side to stop any transaction that matrix cellular demands.
