I had purchased a Panasonic air conditioning on 7th June 2012 (Model No. CU -UC 18NKYP2). On 24th May 2013 I had locked a call with the customer care for the third free servicing. My Reference Number was 119552. On 25th May 2013, a service engineer from Gen World (Kolkata) came to my place and said that he would do wet servicing for which he needs a ladder. As we were not ready with a ladder we said that we would like to close the call and book a call when we are ready with a ladder. On this he said that we give him the bill’s xerox so that he does not lose his travel charges but he had not even touched my air conditioner. A person from Gen World named Sanjiv Majumdar, contact number 9007009323 constantly along with the service engineer forced us to give the bill’s xerox so that he gets his travel charges. We tried to protest hard but it was of no use. Even in his sheet the service engineer showed a fault of “Wire Damage”, which was untrue. We feel that we have been wronged and would like Panasonic India to take action against such instances so that we can keep our faith steady on the organization. Please take the matter seriously cause this was an instance of consumer harassment.
