I,Ashok Kumar Pandey, am a prepaid CDMA subscriber to 7428414825 (Reliance Communications). On 16th June 2012, the balance in my account was Rs. 107.86. I did not use this number on 17th June 2012. Surprisingly, on 18th June 2012, after I used this number to make a couple of very limited duration calls, the balance showed as Rs.74.09. Thereafter, I received sms that my balance has reduced to less than Rs. 15.00. Being shocked, I checked my balance and it was only Rs.9.00. Frustrated, I called up the customer care asking for the details of my usage. The executive informed me that Rs. 30.00 were deducted on account of “Good Morning Service” mistakenly which would be refunded to my account. Now my balance was Rs. Rs.37.78. Again, on 19th June 2012 I called up the customer care no. 198 and asked about the remaining amount which was deducted by them falsely. The complaint was taken vide complaint request no. 141810257 assuring me the refund. On 20th June 2012, the balance showed as Rs.45.85. On 20th I received sms again that my issue has been resolved. When I called up I was told that Rs.59.00 have been refunded to my account. Since my account did not show Rs. 59.00 I questioned them and was told that I might have used the same. Dismayed, I asked them for my usage details. They refused to do so stating that they did not have the usage details.
Is this how Reliance is minting money by falsely charging its customers. If not, then my money should be immediately refunded.
