I had bought reliance HD dish TV in July 2011 costing almost Rs 3000.00. After using for almost 06 months I had disused the connection, as I was being transferred to Portblair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. As there was no coverage of Dish tv at Portblair, I had asked for temporary disconnection of services. I called up customer care and I was told that if I stop recharging the account it will automatically get disconnected and whenever I want to resume my services I just had to recharge again. But now when I am transferred to Goa, I called up customer care for installation and resuming of services, but they are asking me to buy new Set Top Box and Dish TV, basically a new connection altogether as the existing Dish TV and Set top Box with me cannot be used again.. This is incorrect as I was wrongly guided by the customer care representative. Please help me as it is going to be a double loss for me as I have to purchase the entire set again.
