its regarding payment issue for cab service.
On 24th Dec’ 17 Cab service was booked by me for the first time. Here I chose card payment mode but later I preferred to pay by CASH as my relatives were going to use that cab service. So at dropped point my relative paid full CASH of Rs.470/- to cab driver. But don’t know how payment was not got updated into the system and showing as due.

Later I booked 2nd service on 27th Jan’ 18 for same relative, fare was Rs. 445/-. So at dropped point driver said system shows previous due so you have to pay Rs.915/- (445+470=915). He said he can not do anything you have to pay full amount. So my relative paid Rs 915/- to him considering Uber will sort out this issue. Now here I paid twice for my first trip.

So next day I texted above concern to Uber help line to refund extra paid amount to my wallet so i can use it for next trip. But i got below reply from them
“Hi Jaydeep, on checking this, I see that the trip you are referring to was a non-cash payment method trip. Riders are expected to pay by the payment method chosen before they request a ride.
The riders on our platform are required to pay according to the payment method they choose at the time of requesting the ride and any cash paid on a non-cash is considered to be a transaction outside the system.
Unfortunately, we cannot go ahead with a refund. In order to avoid such issues in the future, please confirm the payment method you choose before requesting the ride. The same is expected when you request trips for your loved ones using non-cash payment methods.
Appreciate your understanding in this regard.”

But here in my 2nd trip i paid by cash including due shows for 1st trip, then how there system can accept cash in this scenario. If this is the case then they should have asked to complete the card payment procedure for 1st tour?

This what i faced a very bad experience with Uber. on top of it they do not have help line no. to solve the issue quickly. Need to opt for mails or text which is really frustrating. Request you to a look in this to resolve the issue
