TRAUMATIZING THE CUSTOMER- DEACTIVATION OF NUMBER

Location/place: SHANKARPALLY, HYDERABAD, ANDHRA PRADESH

Having cleared all my bills for my postpaid connection before the due date (04-July), provided all the necessary information regarding the connection (like- bill number, date of payment, etc) and having submitted the request for deactivation on the 02-July-2012, no action has been taken. The promise of deactivating the number within 6 hours of filing the request for deactivation has been defaulted upon. Despite having sent the mail not only to the customer care id, but even to their corporate office, head to customer service, appellate authority no action has been taken… Only false promises and lame excuses that the number will be deactivated within a few hours, request for deactivation is being processed are all I get to hear… In addition to this I get a message that I will have to pay extra amount from the date of billing till the number gets deactivated irrespective of the fact whether I have used the number of not… Being a student who lives in a hostel, all these tantrums and delays on part of the company are causing me a lot of trauma. I appeal to the consumer forum authorities to resolve this problem of mine which is causing me a lot of mental trauma.
