transfer of account

Location/place: ratnagiri

Name of company/service: state bank of india, devrukh. dist- ratnagiri

i have submitted application for transfer of my sbi account from devrukh branch to rajapur branch(dist ratnagiri.)(code 1177).
but they have transferred to raopura branch(gujrat.)(code 1107). they are saying that i should close my account and open new account. but i have submitted this account no. for my scholarship, so i cant close my account. i request u, please do some action and transfer my account to rajapur branch(dist – ratnagiri, maharashtra. branch code -1177)
