Too much delay in Claim of Refund

Location/place: Faridabad

Name of company/service: Reliance Communications

To whomsoever it may concern ,

I am a Reliance Broadband customer from last 4 years and as of now from last few months I am really very frustrated with the services and follow ups availed by Reliance Communications.

I am hereby discussing the “major” issue that I am facing from past 3 months :-

As Reliance Communications do not provide us with monthly bills by hand but only through mobile notifications , so as a result of their negligency one of the executives of Reliance Mobile Store (situated here in Faridabad) by mistake deposited the amount of Rs. 500/- on April 20, 2013 in our (closed) landline account (Billing Account Number-100000110278370) instead of current working account (Billing Account Number-100000110278313). Due to this , Reliance Customer Care Executives disconnected our services thinking that we haven’t paid the bill which was not true.

After having a word with Customer Care executives , they said that you need to deposit EXTRA Rs.500/- in your current working account (so as to get uninterrupted services of Reliance Broadband further) and the amount that is still there in your closed Landline account will be refunded to you by cheque WITHIN OUR PRESCRIBED TIME PERIOD WHICH DOES NOT EXCEED 90 DAYS. As per our need , we deposited an extra amount of Rs 500/- in our current working account on May 6 , 2013.
After wasting so much of our time (asking for our refund amount of Rs. 500/-) with the “Senior Executives” , they are just making a fool of us by everytime providing us with different complaint numbers and saying their repeated lines that We are escalating your issue to the concerned department and you will get the refund within next few days. Its shameful to say but till now we haven’t received the refund amount and its beyond 90 days.

On August 11, 2013, again I had a conversation with one of the Appellate Authority Executives named as “Mr. Ajit” who provided me with another Complaint Number – 207133379 which I am providing you as for your further reference.

Yesterday (August 26 , 2013) , I again discussed the matter with one of your so called SENIOR EXECUTIVES named as “Mrs/Ms. Vidya” who did not provide me with any solutions further but handed me with another Complaint number – 341736847.

Even the Appellate Authority of Reliance Communications is of no use as they just keep on escalating the issues again to Customer Care department without providing us with any remedial solution(s).

I am hereby requesting you to take some stringent action against them and help us claim our refund as soon as possible or else the matter will be taken up directly with the chairman “Mr Anil Dhirubhai Ambani .”
