Respected Sir,
subject:- Facebook has stolen my debit card details and money.
It was with a great shock, I realized that Facebook had stored my credit /debit card details and password without my knowledge and consent when I used on Facebook on May 2014. Face book yesterday the 6th of August 2015 took my 3000.00 + INR without knowledge and consent. I had checked the option for BOOST POST on day before yesterday night the 5th of August, I did not opt to continue on BOOST but simply closed that page. Since Facebook did not ask me to pay and found hundreds of people liking my photo, I thought it is not a chargeable option. So yesterday I opted for a BOOST for another post. Then also no payment was demanded. I had only less than 40 K in my Bank Account and face book robbed Rs. 3220.00 without my permission.
This action of Facebook is a real cheating. I tried searching for the cost of photo boos option but nowhere in the Facebook could I see a price list. When I clicked the button to boost photo there came a page showing some kind of account number which I do not know and shown a hidden credit card number disclosing last 4 digits. Since I do not have a credit card I did not bother about that. There were two buttons asking cancel or continue. I just closed that page without hitting any button. I checked the facebook accounts to remove the stored Debit card details but there was none but my debit card has been put as primary payment option. Today morning I sent them a mail requesting to remove those details and explaining what has happened but they never responded. For this reason I requested my bank and blocked the card reasoning as stolen.
I request you to take necessary action against facebook authorities to get my money refunded and not to indulge this kind of fraud business.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
Rigy Jacob.
