I have one Standard Chartered Bank credit card (4622########4007).3 months back I got a call from the bank and in the call they have asked me to get one card enhancement pack for 12 months.In the call the person has told me that I can go through the terms and conditions provided with the card.But I was not interested in the additional features.But he forced me to get this additional benefits. At last I agreed to get the additional benefit and got the card enhancement pack on 26th February 2013.
I have gone through the Terms and Conditions and I found it does not suit to me.So,on 14th March 2013 I called the Bank Customer care to cancel the additional features (Within 30 days from the issue).
On 15 March(next day) I got a call from Standard Chartered bank credit card department regarding my cancellation of the additional features.As per the suggestion made by the man on call “You can not cancel the card before 26th March 2013 .You can cancel it only between 26 March to 26 April,2013 with no charge on this” .He told me that one confirmation call will come from Bank side and you have to say “You want to retain it”.and he also told me that after 26 March and before 26 April I can cancel the card at any time and bank will not charge any amount on this.As per his direction I did so and retained it till 28 March.
On 28 March 2013,I again called Customer care and informed him to cancel the enhancement pack(As per earlier communication on 15 March Call) and sent the Card enhancement pack to the required address of Bangalore.And same thing I have confirmed with the Customer care.(ADDITIONAL FEATURES KIT CANCELLED and KIT Received at Bank).
Now the Problem arises…
1.I am still getting the charge for the Card enhancement pack in my monthly statement.Every time they are imposing the EMI for Card enhancement pack,Late payment charges and Interests.Now the statement becomes 3195 without using a single penny.This is a clear case of forgery/Cheating to customer.
2.I have raised this issue on 11 April to your customer care(Reference no:20130411157597).Till now no resolution/Call back on this.
3.As per the customer care ,On 15 March 2013 only 1 person has called from the Bank.But actually 2 calls I got .In that case I want to know Who is the first person who called me before the confirmation call and gave me the wrong information.
4.I have paid all my dues which I have spent on my own.Now nothing i have spent through the card which the statement is showing.All the dues showing in the statement are of card enhancement pack and the late payment and Interest charge which I never spent or used.
So I want My credit card statement to be zero.Then Only I can use the credit card.
