IT IS LEARNT THAT THE GOVT. IS KEEN ON INTRODUCING CARPET AREA ON SELLING THE FLATS TO THE POOR PURCHACERS BY BUILDERS. BUT WHEN I WENT TO PURCHASE A FLAT AT THAKURLI EAST I FOUND THAt the govt. is also charging the stamp duty /registration fees on the inflated area displayed by the builder. this is a common practice. if you nwant i will provide full details. urgent
