Snapdeal.com has conned me on a discount and now will not refund

I have been shopping with Snapdeal for some time now, but this last order for Rs 7K I made has put me off completely.
I have raised the problem as a complaint (No. 15209699).
In the interest of the public I will list the problems I had with this order:
1. I purchased Lock and Lock containers worth Rs 7358 (order number : 4612665614) on 25th Jan 2015. There was an ongoing flat 30% off on all Kitchen storage purchased above Rs. 1400 (please note ‘storage’).
I got a discount of around 18% only (Rs. 1000). I did not pay attention when I paid, but later noticed and lodged a complaint with Snapdel for the remaining amount to be refunded, the complaint number is 15209699.
The agent I called on 26th Jan 2015 confirmed there has been a mistake and the difference will be refunded in 2 days.
I waited 5 days and nothing happened, I was forced to call back and the Agent this time did not know about the history and said he has to verify the claim, so I also talked to a ‘supervisor’, he gave another empty promise and did nothing for 3 more days.
Next I called in and demanded a response this time I was transferred to another supervisor named Mr. Maneesh, he asked me for proof of offer (as if it is my job to keep track of Snapdeal’s shady offers), when I said to do his job and verify it in the backend, he said he needed sometime and will get back (he also offered that he could get an approval for Snapdeal cash, just to retain a customer, he said it was goodwill; I turned it down and asked for the money I am entitled).
This Mr. Maneesh called on 2 Feb 2015 and confirmed that the discount was ‘Flat 30%’ and he needs some time to process a refund, I said take the time and close the complaint and refund the money.
I waited till Sat 7th Feb 2015, nothing happened (not so much as an email or phone call to let me know what is happening); so I called back and with great difficulty and many holds (25 mins in all), got connected to the same supervisor Mr. Maneesh; now this guy tells me, that the offer was not flat and does not apply to all items, as example he sighted kitchen items (prestige, pigeon etc), but mine was Kitchen storage (lock and lock), when asked all he can say was that the offer does not cover some (not a clear list, I think the list is flexible, add and remove items at will), and so no refund.
He also claimed he sent an email (which I did not receive) also arranged a callback (which too I did not receive).
So the base line is Snapdeal has effectively conned me because I did not take a screenshot of the offer – smart move, but this has now made me resolve to not shop ate Snapdeal and also to spread this word around in my circle and also in as many customer forums as possible.

In all I have spent 1hr 30 minutes on call with snapdeal (charged call, as snapdeal does not have a tollfree number), and did not so much get a status update on email about my complaint.
If this dubious Mr. Maneesh told that the refund will not be processed earlier, I would have returned the order as a matter of principle and moved to Amazon.in. But now since I have filled items and commodities in the storage items it is not practical to remove everything and ship it back, though Snapdeal had proved to be a ‘dick’.
