For the past 6 months that i have been in calcutta again, i have been staying in alipore. When i switch on my tv its like i havent been paying a rupee as almost EVERY channel is blacked out…3 months ago, when a Mr. Deepak came to (no surprises) only take the money for the ‘services’, i had told him to remove several of the unwanted channels n add 12 new channels..He said the charges would go up, and i agreed to it..
It is yet to be done.
Today, i had called the same deepak (9433222910) from siticable, to ask him why i couldnt watch the India SL cricket match on TV, he told me to ‘watch it on DD’. Trying to speak to him, he hung up and has, as always, switched off his phone..
On calling a supposed superior, Mr. Dutta (9230512314), he says he will ‘look into it’..
This digital cable connection is in my grandmothers name, who is very old and cannot handle situations like this…
i am at a boiling point, and according to the consumer act, i could launch a legal case, but i guess its no point…
Strangely enough, my aunt who stays near Ruby Hospital, gets excellent service with Siti Cable, at a lower cost…
All i can say is, with the growing number of DTH suppliers, Siticable may as well change their name to Shiti cable to suit themselves better.
