On November 1st, 2012, I received a call from Sigma Global Research, claiming to be the stock and equity advisors, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat helping customers grow their money. Sigma Global Research executive, one Mr. Sankar informed me that if I invested Rs 20,000 in Sigma Global Research, I will be provided with Rs 15,000 interest for that month. Initially, I ignored this offer and did not respond. However Sigma Global Research executive persistently followed-up by calling me and convinced me to accept the offer. Finally, I too got convinced and decided to avail this offer, totally trusting Sigma Global Research company,Accordingly, I transferred an amount Rs 20,000 through net banking on November 13th, 2012.After the completion of one month, I called to Sigma Global Research on 15th December, 2012 to inquire about my money. But my call has not been picked up and therefore, I sent an SMS asking the same. To my shock, that company replied that since the company ran into huge loss, they are not able to provide the amount that has been promised to me. I was told that my money would be returned to me after a month after the company recovers from the losses.Even after completed 8 months, they have not returned me a single rupee.

So I requested to people , it is afraud Company, dont trust their offer

    I also have the same complaint regarding Sigma Global research, In November , 2012, I received a call from Sigma Global research, who is the Stock and equity advisor, based from Ahmadabad, Gujarath,that person name is Aakash-08866157353/09377966552/08866708545/07965232242.
    He told that if I invested Rs 20,000/- in their company, they will provide Rs 15,000/- interest for one month, initially I had also ignored it and did not respond, but he was keep on calling and convinced me.
    I had filled their subscription form & transferred amount Rs 20,000/-through Internet banking to Sigma Global research , SBI A/C No. 32624409213 on 6.1.2012. they have given me payment conformation mail.
    Now when I am calling they are not respondding to me & if someone taking phone then he is saying the Person Aakash has left the company & given me wrong commitment about the offer.
    The money they had taken is service charge to company & they will only help me for trading through my D-Mat A/C ,but it is not mention anywhere in their subscription form.
    in this issue I have their conformation mail after credit the amount.also I have Amount transfer acknowledgement.
    Please suggest me how to get the amount back.

    I too received a call from Sigma Global Research. The call was from Mr. Shekar Mobile No. 07965232242 . He explained that our money will be invested in the bullion market and we will get 35,000 INR on investing 20,000. He also asked me to go through the website which look presentable. They said they will send us an agreement. I also received a receipt for the payment that I made; and when i called the person his number was switched off. So I called the office and they also said it will be fine. A month has passed and now all the lined are coming as temporarily disconnected. When i started calling the office a call by name Sonal said that hes on leave and finally they even stopped picking the calls. Then i came across the news about Gujarat police online complaints. I filed a complaint but did not receive any response.

    Sigma came and went. Its been 2 years now no news of the money lost…. just a learning left. Just wondering how many people must have been cheated by them; so many people must have lost their hard earned money. Also wondering how many such companies exist and cheat people daily. I could come out of the loss; not everyone will. A lesson learnt for life.
