Dear Sir,

My name is Anita Kalra and residing in Sushant Lok I, Gurgaon Haryana. I had dispatched one courier ( POD no.7854626452) thru overnite express (counter situated in vyapar kendra, sushant lok) containing Rakhi on 20th July 2012. They have given me assurance of delivery of the said courier very next day and charged the premium charges from me but upon enquiry on 25th July`12, the packet has not delivered and contineously showing out for delivery on 25th July`12 till date i.e. 28th July`12 but the matter is still in vein. After visiting the Overnite Express booking counter, they assured me that they will give feed back but still there is no feedback. I have myself made several calls and talked in customer care, they gave me status that this packet has reached to Ranchi (Jharkhand) and coming back to Delhi while address mentioned on the packet is of Farrukhabad (UP). these are two different states. After my hard efforts i found contact no. of Farrukhabad Overnite Express person and he updated that the said packet sent back to Delhi and its not their area to deliver the packet. FYI pl, the destination address is infront of distt. Jail and falls in town area where i regularly sent couriers. Today is 28th July`12 and Rakshabandhan is on 2nd Aug`12 but my Rakhi is still roaming in transit.

My humble request to you sir, kindly look into matter of mental and monetary harrassment. How a courier company give irresponsible statement that the packet reached to Ranchi while address was of Farrukhabad. If there is no their delivery area, they could have mention well in time so that i could arrange another courier. Please advise for justice and the compensation with regard to mental and monetary harassment.
