With utter disgust feeling I’m writing this review for SHINE.COM, a so called job portal.
I happen to purchase paid services from shine.com via chat. However the very next day I called them to cancel it as I realised its not worth.
And here starts the story.
Next day I called up shine and told that I’m not interested and would want my money back.They said that they do not have refund policy.
2.And asked me to contact same person via chat. Now I contacted him so many times. Twice or thrice he came online and denied for refund.
3.After that everytime I go online for chat, there is no one to attend me.
In the first few instance sales rep told me that I should have read terms and conditions. When I told him that I was not given terms and conditions, he told that as a customer I should ask for terms and conditions.
I have all the conversation recorded.I’ll put that towards the end, so that you viewers are not fooled like me.
Now as per the law:
Every company or an institute should have refund policy, if consumer is lacking interest on the product or services.
2.Cooling of period must be laid by every company, for customers to return the product, if not interested.
They should read out terms and condition at the time of sale and not say later that they would provide only if customer ask for. This is against the consumer act: Right to Information.
