I have a Kotak trinity account. My home branch is Parrys Corner, Chennai. As of now I raised two complaints with Kotak Customer care. Both of my service request were closed many times without getting it addressed.
The first issue was to do with Demat account charges. I had to reopen the ticket for five times. Everytime I ask for the reason, they would say that the branch office closed the ticket mentioning that they had called and spoken with me. But there was never a call. Eventually I had to call up the branch and get the clarification done.
The second time it’s even worse. I had issued a cheque at Bangalore back in May and they had charged me a cheque clearance charge since it had to go to Chennai and get cleared. However mine was a kotak edge account and I had an at-par cheque book. On 19th July I found this out and raised a complaint calling their customer care. However this time too they closed it without getting addressed. I had reopened it three times and still they closed it everytime I opened it. The issue is still not resolved as of today i.e. 26th July.
I am completely frustrated with the way they handle the queries and hence as a last resort I plan to write about this issue in one of the consumer forums. I hope that atleast on reading such complaints they tidy up the way they handle issues
