SERVICE CENTRE PEOPLE FORCING THEIR TERMS

WITH THE HIGHEST RESPECT FOR THIS FORUM I WANT TO BRING FORWARD TO YOU THE PROBLEMS FACED BY ME AND MY FAMILY DUE TO THE NEGLIGENT BEHAVIOUR BY GODREJ SERVICE CENTRE PEOPLE.
SIR, I HAVE BOUGHT A GODREJ REFRIGERATOR MODEL NO.-GDE19C2, SL NO-090561185,ON 24/05/09 FROM OUR LOCAL MARKET(SUNIL ELECTRONICS).BUT RECENTLY THE DOOR OF OUR REFRIGERATOR BECAME LITTLE FAULTY AS THE HINGES SUPPORTING THE DOOR GOT RUSTED.
SO I BOOKED THE SAME FAULT WITH SUNIL ELECTRONICS IN LIEU OF GODREJ CUSTOMER CARE SERVICES.MY COMPLAINT WAS REGISTERED WITH GODREJ SUPPORT SERVICES CALL NO-21410660482 ON 14 OCT 14 AND I WAS TOLD THAT I WILL HAVE TO PAY THE SERVICE CHARGE OF Rs.275 AND I AGREED TO IT.TODAY i.e ON 15 OCT 14 THE TECHNICIAN MRE WASIM AKRAM VISITED OUR HOUSE AND SAID THAT THE HINGES NEED TO BE REPLACED AND HE WILL DO SO TOMORROW,BUT IN THE MEAN TIME WHILE CHECKING THE MACHINE HE BROKE THE HINGES.WHEN I ASKED HIM THAT BY WHAT TIME THE HINGES WILL BE REPLACED HE ARROGANTLY REPLIED THAT WE DO NOT DO ALL THIS WORK AND NOW WE NEED TO SEND THE REFRIGERATOR TO GODREJ SERVICE CENTRE AT DHANBAD WHICH IS 25 KMS AWAY.ONCE I ASKED HIM WHO WILL PAY THE CONVEYANCE FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF REFRIGERATOR,HE ARROGANTLY REPLIED THAT THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM.I TOLD HIM THAT THE REFRIGERATOR WAS SERVICABLE AND IT WAS WORKING BUT IT WAS HIM WHO BROKE THE HINGES AND DUE TO WHICH THE REFRIGERATOR HAS GONE UNSERVICABLE THEN WHY SHOULD THE CONSUMER SHOULD PAY FOR THE SERVICE ENGINEER’S MISTAKE,BUT HE GAVE COLD SHOULDERS AND CONTINUED HIS ARROGANCE.THEN I DEMANDED TO TALK TO HIS SUPERIOR HE CONNECTED HIS PHONE TO SOME MR. SONU STATING THAT HE IS HIS BOSS.I STATED MY PROBLEM TO HIM THAT THE DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE BY HIS SERVICE ENGINEER BUT HE(MR. SONU) WAS NOT READY TO LISTEN.HE SAID THAT THE CONSUMER WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR ALL THE TRANSPORT CHARGES AND ALSO WAS VERY ARROGANT.

SIR ,IN THIS CASE IT SEEMS TO ME AS IF THE ONLY LOOSER IS THE CUSTOMER,I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO AND AS OF NOW MY REFRIGERATOR IS IN TWO PIECES AND I AM VERY UNSURE WHAT RESPONSE I WILL GET FROM THE SERVICE CENTER PEOPLE AS THEIR ARROGANCE ALMOST STATES THE STORY.
