Selling of expired product and non issuance of service

Location/place: Guwahati

Name of company/service: Reliance

I purchased a Reliance Pre paid sim worth of Rs 150/- which clearly states on its package and also by the authorized dealer that it contains Rs 101/- FRC including 800 free local relaice to reliance calls, 200 reliance to other and 20 STD minutes. The sim was purchased and all necessary documents submitted to the Reliance outlet at Chandmari, opp HDFC Bank Guwahati. The sim was purchased on 1st February 2013 and activated on 2nd feb 2013, but any call could not be made from it as it says the validity of the sim expired on 28th January 2013, and so I am deprived of the above benefits for which I paid the requested amount. After several communication with the Customer care, and the outlet center they are reluctant and not interested in looking to the matter and providing any solution. Every time i make a call to the customer care they hang up the call in between, my question is how can they sell an expired validity sim and no do anything to rectify their mistakes, I am seriously thinking of taking this matter to the court and fighting it.
