Samsung Mobile touchscreen problem

Dear Sir,

I bought Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9003 for Rs 17,200 on 12th November,2011 from Mysore. Few months later, the touchscreen of my mobile stopped working. I went to one of the Samsung Service Centers in Anna Nagar West,Chennai and they fixed it in 3 days. After couple of months again this problem arised and they said Android(Mobile Operating System) needs to be updated. I am facing this problem for last 1 week and my warranty is going to expire on this November,2012. New touchscreen costs around Rs 5600/-. I don’t know what they do in the Samsung Service Centers. Please do the needful.
