We had bought a samsung s4 phone on 03/10/2013 from model town, jalandhar showroom. the phone has a warranty of 1 year. on 20/04/2014, the phone started facing charging problems. the charger does not get inserted properly in the phone anymore and remains lose and the phone does not get charged. we took the phone to the service center of samsung in jalandhar and told our problem. they did not listen to us and started saying the phone is out of warranty and the repairs will cost Rs. 1200. When asked the reason, they started misbehaving and did not listen to us. even after asking them again and again, they refused to help us completely. in the showroom, we met another customer who had the same problem. He told us that he had the same problem once before also and the service center repaired the mobile including replacement of parts in warranty.he was not charged anything that time. but after some time, he started facing the same problem, but this time, the service center refused to repair the mobile inside warranty. when he asked the reason, the service center even said that the phone is out of warranty now since the phone has been opened once. although the phone was opened only boy the service center and not by any outsider. though he had 5 months of warranty left, they said that the phone won’t be repaired inside warranty. the service center people don’t know how to talk to customers.. our phone cost us Rs. 27, 200. for a brand like samsung, this is completely unacceptable. they just say that warranty of 1 year will be provided but actually, this is just way of getting money of customers because when there is actually a problem, they don’t repair it inside warranty and ask for money to repair the phone.
