I have been a proud owner of Iphone 4. However recently on the Iphone suddenly went dead completely. I have used for just 14 months. I went to Iphone service, they asked to pay INR10.5k and take a replacement phone. All my data is gone. Is this a milk-the-customer strategy of Apple to force a replacement than to just service the phone. Ostensible it looks like a battery replacement case to me. However they say they do not have the service in India. Why do they sell phones if they do not give service in India?. Moreover, even the replacement phone comes with a warranty of only 3 months. What happens if the replacement phone fails again?? pay 11k again? I have give up on Apple Inc.
