I’VE BEEN A REGULAR CUSTOMER OF AMAZON INDIA EVER SINCE IT WAS LAUNCHED.
RECENTLY I’VE PURCHASED DVDS /VCDS /AUDIO CDS WORTH RS 52, 0000. SINCE AMAZON IS STILL INCAPABLE OF HANDLING ONLINE TRANSACTIONS WHICH GOT FAILED SEVERAL TIMES THEREBY MULTIPLE ORDERS WERE ORIGINATED LEADING TO DUPLICATION OF SEVERAL PRODUCTS. AND THEREBY REFUND AMOUNT HAS REACHED RS 9000. ALREADY A MONTH HAS ELAPSED SINCE THE FIRST ORDERING ON AUGUST 16, 2014.

THE AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE TEAM COMMITTED ME REPEATEDLY THAT IF THE PRODUCTS ARE RETURNED TO THEM THROUGH STANDARD FEDEX PICKUP THE REFUND WILL BE INITIATED. I DID THE SAME. ALL THE PRODUCTS HAVE REACHED THE AMAZON WAREHOUSE AT BHIWANDI ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2014 AT 18.22PM. BUT THEY HAVE NOT YET REFUNDED THE AMOUNT AND ASKING FOR SCANNED COPY OF PROOF OF DELIVERY(POD) DOCUMENTS WHICH, QUITE OBVIOUSLY, FEDEX, AMAZON’S OFFICIAL COURIER DECLINING SINCE AMAZON IS THEIR CLIENT, NOT MINE.
I HAVE HAD TO FILE A-Z GUARANTEE CLAIM SINCE I’M NOT GETTING THE
REFUND. JUST NOW A SELLER HAS MAILED ME STATING THAT THEY ARE READY TO INITIATE REFUND
BUT AMAZON HAS NOT MOVED A SINGLE INCH IN RETURNING THE PRODUCT WHICH IS STILL LYING AT THEIR WAREHOUSE. MY BANK(HSBC) HAS LEVIED PENALTY OF RS 1000 AS BOTH THE VISA PLATINUM CARDS EXCEEDED THEIR CREDIT LIMIT. NOT TO MENTION THE ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF STATIONERY AND PRINTING EXHAUSTED IN MAKING THE PACKAGES SPECIFIED BY AMAZON
I FEEL TOTALLY DECEIVED BY THIS ATTITUDE OF AMAZON WHO IS DISPLACING THE BLAME UPON THE SELLER THAT THEY ARE NOT CONSENTING TO APPROVE THE REFUND WHILE ACTUALLY THE REVERSE IS TRUE.

AMAZON.COM, IT IS WELL-KNOWN, IS ‘THE WORLD’S LARGEST ONLINE RETAILER AND INTERNATIONAL ELECTRONIC COMMERCE(E-COMMERCE) COMPANY’ WITH HEADQUARTERS IN SEATTLE, WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES WHICH STARTED AS AN ONLINE BOOKSTORE, BUT SOON DIVERSIFIED, SELLING DVDS, VHSS, CDS, VIDEO AND MP3 DOWNLOADS/STREAMING, SOFTWARE, VIDEO GAMES, ELECTRONICS, APPAREL, FURNITURE, FOOD, TOYS, AND JEWELRY. THE COMPANY ALSO PRODUCES CONSUMER ELECTRONICS—NOTABLY, AMAZON KINDLE E-BOOK READERS, KINDLE FIRE TABLETS, FIRE TV AND FIRE PHONE — AND IS A MAJOR PROVIDER OF CLOUD COMPUTING SERVICES. VERY RECENTLY, DURING THE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS AMAZON INDIA, THE INDIAN ASSOCIATE OF AMAZON.COM, OFFERED EXTENSIVE DISCOUNT ON VARIOUS PRODUCTS MENTIONED ABOVE. THE SIGNATORY IS AMAZON INDIA’S CUSTOMERS SINCE IT WAS LAUNCHED IN THIS COUNTRY (IN FACT FROM THE JUNGLE.COM DAYS). HE PLACED A SUBSTANTIAL ORDER, MAINLY FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES, DURING THIS PERIOD OF AUGUST OFFERING. BUT, INITIALLY, ALL HIS ATTEMPTED PAYMENT, EVEN WITH A COMBINATION OF SEVERAL CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS (BOTH VISA & MASTER) OF THREE LEADING BANKS, ALL OF THE TRANSACTIONS FAILED. THIS HAS OCCURRED IN THE PAST TOO SINCE AMAZON INDIA IS

1. ‘DO NOT ORDER TOO MUCH, WE ARE DEBILITATED’: INCAPABLE OF HANDLING BULK ORDERS. AS MANY OF THE EXECUTIVES EXPRESSED DURING THE PROCEDURE THAT THEY ARE AS NOT PROFICIENT TO DEAL WITH BULK ORDERS. IN OTHER WORDS A STATUTORY WARNING SHOULD HAVE BEEN MENTIONED BEFORE THE OFFER SEASON DECLARATION

AS THE INDIAN COUNTERPART OF THE WORLD’S LARGEST ONLINE RETAILER AND INTERNATIONAL ELECTRONIC COMMERCE (E-COMMERCE) COMPANY AMAZON.IN MUST RECTIFY THEIR LIMITATIONS WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT IN BENEFIT OF THOUSANDS OF EXISTING AND POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS OR OTHERWISE, LIKE THE UNDERSIGNED, WHO HAVE BEEN COMPELLED TO FISCAL CALAMITY DEJECTEDLY HAVE BUT TO SHIFT TO OTHER PRINCIPAL E-COMMERCE SITES (THERE ARE AMPLE OF THEM) IN THIS ERA OF UNWRAPPED COST-EFFECTIVE ECONOMIC STRATEGIES
