Replacement for defective product denied

Name of company/service: Samsung Tab 2 GT P3100

I purchased Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 GT P3100 from SSK Services, Korum Mall in Thane on 13th May, 2013. I did not use it even for an hour within a month and it stopped working. I submitted the tablet for replacement at the dealer (SSK Services) and they promised that they will make sure that the product is replaced with a new one. Even after 15 days they have failed to do so and they are contacting me that the product has been repaired and I should take it. I am insisting on replacement because if there are problems with the brand new product, it may give me problems in future also. They should replace the defective product.
