I bought an Asus DVD drive this year February (2013). The serial no. will not match with the original model(DRW-24B5ST, serial C9D0CL003870) which went bust after 1 month! It got replaced by service center with a DRW-24D3ST model (no box,so I dont know serial).Website shows 1.5mb buffer on the drive but Nero shows only 768kb buffer?? Plus Asus e-green software shows ‘No Asus Drive Detected’! What gives? I’m really disappointed. I can’t waste anymore time with Asus Service Centres. I will no more buy their products.
