Case Matter:Reliance Netconnect – A/c 500000547681 :
I was tired of poor service quality of Reliance Netconnect (wireless) and requested for closing the connection in Dec15,2011. At that time the bill outstanding was Rs806.94. The CSR closed the connection after a month of follow up when they failed to convince me to continue with their service. After a week I got a call saying that the pending bill is Rs1787.57 and that the fixed charge applies for that one month.
I have followed up multiple times for bill correction so that I can make a final payment,but no response from the Senior Staff. On Feb28th, I got a call from a Customer Exec again for the bill payment , whom I said that I am making a payment of the actual bill(Rs 806.94) as of Dec2011 on condition that they will correct the records and end this chase. That CSR-person verbally committed that he will personally see that the system data is corrected.
3 months later, I am again getting calls saying that they have filed a case for the pending amount.
Complaint:
1.Reliance Staff delayed service termination process, and piled up the bill with fixed charge, for that whole duration.
2.Customer Service turned a deaf-ear to service complaints but they have been bothering me for a petty payment even after 6 month of service closure.
3. The CSR commited correct the bill, so I made a payment of actual outstanding amount (Rs806.94). Now,the recovery staff is again calling me to pay the remaining amount.
My experience with Reliance netconnect has not just lead to mental anguish but also makes me loose faith in Big Brand Service providers who take customer feedback as a paperwork and really dont care about their service improvement.
Humble request to Consumer Court: Such companies should be legally banned from practicing in our market if such complaint reaches a defined limit.
