I have recently applied for a reliance broadband connection and taken the comboplan of INR 699. and paid total for INR 1300 by cheque out of which INR 600 was told as refundable deposit. I got surprised on the day 1 of my connection installation, as it was not working when there is no power in our area. Niether phone works nor internet works, Then I raised a complaint and they said they will revert in 24 hours. I didn’t received any response from reliance even after 3 days. Then again I called the customer care to know the status, that time Ms. Sandhya was online, and informed as the compliant is closed. and I was surprised to hear from her as the complaint is closed from their end as there was no battery available in my area for the back up of their POP Box. The complaint was closed with out even informing me. Ms. Sandhya also confirmed that it is not possible to provide the battery in our area. And infact she tried to convince me to get adjust with out phone and internet whenever there is no power. I denied and asked for the cancellation and refund of my total amount. She taken a complaint and # 200612527. and informed as I would be receiving the call from them with in 48 hours. It is been 5 days and there is no response from reliance. and again I called today, spoke to Ms. Prathima and asked to transfer the call to Manger, she neither transferred nor provided the solution. wasted my time for 20 minutes and pretended as such she didn’t hear me. I request you to take my complaint, to cancel the connection and refund 100% of amount what I paid.
