Rejection of my waiver request

Location/place: Chembur, mumbai

Name of company/service: Reliance Communications

I am a very old customer of Reliance Communications, and I must say I am highly disappointed with their service. I own a land line telephone and an internet connection from them.

I must say, I face disconnection every month, or alternate months. Every time, I am being told its a fiber cut and the disconnection lasts for at least a week, sometimes more than that. And every time, I am being told that a permanent solution is applied so I won’t face disconnection the next time.

However, every time I used to get a waiver from them regarding the disconnection as per TRAI norms.

This time, however, my connection was not working from 9th April to 15th April, for which I had applied for a waiver (request no. 201992149). I got an intimidation from them that the request will not be processed and rejected it. When I contacted the customer care they told me that they reported usage during that period. To which, I simply told them that I didn’t have access to the connection itself to use it.

They then told me to write them a mail, I even did that. Its been 5 days since I sent them the e-mail, still no response from their side!

    We tried calling you on the given number but we were unable to reach you, as per the confirmation received from the respective team, we wish to inform you that as you complained that you were unable to use the broadband services for said period and as there were no complaints were made by you. Hence we apologies we are unable to process any waiver.
