Regarding mental harrasment

Location/place: Pimple Gurav, Pune

Name of company/service: AIRTEL

Hi Sir,

I, Yogesh Kumar Bajoria was having a connection of internet broadband from Airtel Communications for approx 9-10 months. In the month of May 2012, I have lodged a request for disconnection, whose request 15946174. I made all the balance payments at the last week of May.

At that time, they told me that it will be disconnected within 5 days and simultaneously connection was barred after 5 days.

After 2-3 days of lodging request for disconnection, I got a call from Airtel communication regarding the reason for disconnection. I told him that I am going to shift from Baner (the connection I was prevailing in Baner). They asked me for not to disconnect the connection and advised me that they will not charge installation fees even if I move from Baner location. As I was staying with my 7 seven friends, it was cheaper but now I am residing with 3 (three) friends, where internet connection will be uneconomical with such plan.

In the month of June-July, I got approx 2-3 calls daily (at any time, be it morning 8 am or at noon 2-3 pm)from Airtel Company regarding reason for not using broadband connection.

This month, I got calls from Airtel company for making balance payment of three months i.e. June, July and August 2012 which equals to approx Rs. 4,600.

Today, I got a call from local Airtel company regarding payment of the above mentioned bills. As, I was already tensed with this company and also so many calls are creating huge health issue to me, I told him that I have already lodged a complaint regarding this and I am not able to pay this bill. He intimidate (dhamki) me by saying that you will have to come to Shivaji nagar court. After receiving that call, I am having lots of thinking as I have not attended any court session till yet and I want to be out of this.

Please take this as deep concern….

Thanks

Yogesh

    Hi Yogesh,

These are fraud people. They will scare you by saying court and all stuff, and when u get scared they will say ‘OK if u want we can solve the matter amicably, please deposit the amount in this bank account ****, or let me know ur address and hand over cash to the person i send there’. Please be wise enough not to get in these traps. I myself have been receiving such calls from airtel and i know how much paining it is. I think we all should get together and create a big revolution against this fraud company.
