Respected Sir/Madam,

I had taken a reliance broadband connection on Dec 3, 2009 Then after some day I shifted to my new house and then I applied for the relocation of my broadband connection on Date: Wed, Jan 6, 2010.As per their rule it should be done withing 7 working days.But it never happened.In the mean while they kept on sending monthly bills to my email address “[email protected]”.I had been communicating to their customer executives 20-30 times.I had sent several chain of mails,but those were of no use,I visited once to their office near Banarghatta,Bangalore once.But the only thing I received is false commitment.So at last I headed for consumer forum and registered a complain(dont remember which I site I used to file complain),after that I got call from consumer forum and told him all the matter and after that I stopped getting mails and calls from reliance communication.Today when I checked my mail I got a mail with subject line:”Reliance Broadband Usage Due – Lok Adalath Reminder Notice” and mail Body “RCIL/VB/LOK-15032013

WHEREAS M/s. Reliance Communications Infrastructures Ltd. Represented

    Hey even i got the same email with the same petition number and case number from Lok adalat yesterday…
    they are just copy pasting it, even i disconnected my internet in 2010 and still they are showing 3257.00 Rs outsanding..
    how come that amount be outstanding, and same lok adalat number to every one.. thats just lame

    I also got same e-mail even though I have paid all due and one month extra bill in 2011 as they said your disconnection request is one month delayed then they said after one month that your old request has cancelled and you need to raise new request for disconction.

    Reliance is using all kinds of threat to extract money from their old customer never take any reliance services.

    Please log complaints in court of lwa agaist them, I am a lawer and planing to file case agaist them, let me know if you have got such threats

    These reliance people are ingulging in very unlawful act of extracting money from their old customers, they are going to house and threating for money and mishandling citigens their, this will definatly have grave end for them and their money extracting client.

    People are out their to drag them in court.

    It is surprising that..I have received the same today morning.The story is same for me as well like the one above said.I am confused with the same petition number for all.How to know whether it is just a cheap approch or real?

    Hi , Even i have received the same type of email and petition number.
    Also reason is same as mentioned above. But only difference is , i had placed the request for cancellation and vacated the house. i even followed with the customer care for the same issue and they also committed saying extra charge assign in the bill will automatically reverse to your Broadband account. And after that now i have received this mail

    Hello Everyone,

    I also got the e-mail even though I have paid all dues before termination of the service that they kept in safe custody mode even though they didn’t had service at my new address. Everything was settled but they kept on sending the bill of + Rs 100/ every month for safe custody mode after the termination of broadband service.

    Below is email:

    Dear Sir,
    We received your last payment on 29th April 10 for Rs. 502.49 which pertained to your March month usage bill

    Hence when you /We opt for the terminating/Cancelling request the April month bill of Rs.649+ ST raised & being one month notice to be served for any termination, as per that May month bill of Rs. 649+ST had been raised.

    Kindly settle the net due of Rs. 1114/- immediately to avoid civil suit against non-payment of Public utility service

    Even I got the, Bill generated even after I got cancellation request. It seems no link b/w cancellation dept and bill generation dept. I replied with my cancellation ID and other details waiting for their response.

    I got a call today from consumer court forum saying that there is a case against me for outstanding bill of Rs. 500 for Reliance internet.

    I have never had a reliance internet connection before. I had applied for the internet along with a Rs. 500 deposit cheque, but when the technical guys came to my house they said that I could not get the internet as there is no network in my area.

    I tried to get the Rs. 500 back from them but failed and today after 5-6 years they call me and tell me that I have an outstanding bill of Rs. 500. They owe me money instead. Such big cheats
