Regadring Prepaid connection

Name of company/service: Airtel

I would like to share a bitter experince from Airtel.I took one prepaid connection in the year of 2008,but few days back I received a message from Airtel regarding my Prepaid conection.They are pressurisng me to reproduce my ID Card copy as well as Photograph.Two years back I submitted the same,Yesterday I lost my outgoing call fecility,also they threatened me to disconnect this connection If I am not ready submit these documents.As a customer how can I resolve this issue?
