My name is Erich and I am settled in Dubai from the past two years. I had used Makemytrip.com for flight booking for a holiday back to India but due to personal reasons could not go and had to cancel my tickets.
Cancellation date was May 14th and refund amount was 2556 AED (41662 rupees) and I was promised a refund in 7 working days. I have called the customer care several times following up on this payment, sent several emails and spoken to many customer care executives (Sonam, Alok, Nitika Mittal, Navjot, Arun Sharma etc) who treat customers like crap. I am put on hold on the international call for more than half an hour and they hang up without any feedback.
Kindly advise how I can take MakeMyTrip to task.
