There are two refunds pending for Claim ID: 840021(Kindle eReader) and 840478 (Google Chromecast). Both are similar cases. The product was not what was desired (reasons are different), I requested for ebay guarantee claim which was rejected and I was told to contact seller. Both sellers accepted the reasoning and were ‘ok’ to take back the item and route refund through ebay channels. Item was shipped back and POD(proof of despatch) was sent to ebay (insellerverifiation).
Couple of weeks go with no response. Calls were given to Customer Care asking status, they say no updates received from seller so I was asked to contact them. I contacted seller, both say that they have already mailed ebay to proceed with refund. I request both to mail again keeping me in CC. They mail again. Couple of weeks go with no response yet again.

She was able to pull out POD and seller refund confirmation email for both the Claims.Her super-wiser wanted to talk to one seller and did so. Seller blasted him for holding back the claim. Both apologized to me and say that claim will settle in 2-3 days and I’ll get email from eBAY. There was no update for one Claim and for other i got an email from insellerverification that I need to contact seller as POD is not there. I am unable to comprehend why I have to establish the entire background again and again. Why cant somebody just take ownership of these claims and close it for good.
Unable to follow up with them on call, I thought of taking an email route and sought an update on Mar 19th. I haven’t got a revert yet. Now this whole thing has dragged for 3 months now. Today I tried reaching out to ebay again and requested to talk to supervisor. Each time I had to explain the entire scenario and background and the call dropped/disconnected while transferring to super-wiser(5 times).
I want a refund and would like this matter to be dealt harshly as ebay is taking customers for granted and causing lot of mental harassment.
