I have booked Air India Ticket from Mumbai to Chennai on 12-12-2016 and Chennai to Mumbai on 14-12-2016 through Make My Trip Booking ID NF2263581955209 dtd 08-12-2016.
The Flight No. AI570 against my PNR No. H2R2J from Mumbai to Chennai took off from Mumbai International Airport on 08-12-2016 at 6.15 a.m but it did not land at Chennai due to bad weather and diverted to Bangalore Airport. Passengers were kept waiting till evening 5.15 p.m and taken back to Mumbai.
I could not reach Chennai and lost attending certain important assignments. I cancelled my ticket and requested for refund of to & fro fare amounting to Rs.12,744/- I had sent out half a dozen e-mails requesting to refund the amount as I could not reach Chennai and the question of returning doesn’t arise at all. Make My Trip informed me they will check up with the airline and revert back. While waiting for their feed back on Saturday(24-12-2016) Make My trip sent me an e-mail stating that my complaint is closed and they were failed to contact me on telephone.
I really got a shock of my life by reading the mail as they did not resolve the issue by refunding my legitimate claim and simply closed it.
