Project cancelled aftet 2 years of its launch

I booked a plot of area 200Sqm in 2010 in TDI city Fatehabad road, Agra in phase 3 but yesterday i got a letter from the company that the project has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.Along with me there were almost 120 bookings were made and everyone was promised that registration will be done once the necessary facilities are developed like roads, parks but we are approching the company from last 1.5 years but didn’t get any response.Yesterday i received a letter cancelling the complete project and asking for the refund of the money.

How the company can cancel the project after 2 years without giving any proper reason.Please suggest some legal action against the TDI group (http://www.tdigroup.net/) because they hae utilized the money and now after 2 years , cancelling the project.
