Hello All,
I want to bring to your notice the “passing the ball game” that is happening in your company regarding customer problems. I bought Micromax Canvas A115 from Snapdeal on 13th May 2013. Since 10th August I have been facing problems with my device. The power key button of the mobile is not working and the mobile is not getting charged. I went to service center in Nasik as mentioned on your website. The technician checked the phone and replaced the power key, but that did not solve the issue. They advised that motherboard needs to be replaced and I will need to submit the phone for 20-25 days with the service center and accordingly they gave me Work order number : OSMS – 739 . I got the handset from the service center when they told me that they have not yet got the part despite keeping the handset with them for over 15 days.
I spoke with Amit/Sapna/Suresh (TL) from service center to inquire if the motherboard had arrived. They informed me that no such request has been raised against my phone’s imei number. The work order number for the same is OSMS – 739 – no job sheet was created.
I got in touch with Tech Solutions (authorized service center – Megacentre, hadapsar,Pune) in Pune as advised by the “superfine email support”. However, they refused to check the phone as there was no warranty seal. They believe that the warranty seal would have not been put back by Nashik Service center and they were insisting on submitting the phone to the nashik service center only.
I am trying to get in touch with the Nashik service center on the number mentioned in the work order – 073502509895 since the last 2 weeks, however I am unable to get connected to them as I am getting the number is switched off.
I work in Pune and do not have that much time to travel to nasik to submit my phone. Moreover it is been over 2 months that my phone is rendered useles, i cant use it to make any outgoing calls or sms. I can only get incoming calls.
I had a very bad experience with the quality of work done by the people at nashik service center. They did not raise any case for replacing my motherboard. More over the people out there are very unprofessional and lack the basic sense of talking to their valuable customers.
I am tired of this passing the ball. In case that micromax can’t help out their customers in such a scenario, I would request micromax to take back my phone and refund me the entire sum that I paid for this phone. I will think of buying some better phone like samsung who do have service center staff that have the decency and the audacity to be polite and professional to their customers.
Kindly advise what can be done, either replace or fix my phone asap or refund my money for the phone within a week. Kindly do not provoke me to stall up any legal action as I have reached the limit of my patience. I have been using a useless phone from 10th August till now i.e almost more than 40 days. I would appreciate speaking to an executive from your legal department if you are unable to give any satisfactory response to me.
