Name of company/service: barclays credit card
Hi,
i mark white,used to hold a credit card with Barclays. This card was lost sometime in dec’10 and i had asked them to block and close the card as i was not using it. They blocked the card and never closed it.Apart from this , there was an amount of Rs 86 pending on the card , which they never informed me was pending and then being written off and reported to CIBIL. This has negatively affected my CIBIL records.
Now when i am trying to get this rectified, no one is willing to assit me . Their”phoenix” department in Mumbai insists on a card number to pull my records,while the credit card customer care agent cannot provide me with the same as they say this is against company policy. They even say they cannot provide with a duplicate copy of my credit card statement.
