I have purchased a Lenovo G505S laptop (S/N: CB23724624) from Flipkart on 31st July. I did receive the laptop on 2nd August. On 3rd Aug, I installed all the drivers and OS in the laptop. But apparently my laptop kept on restarting whenever I viewed an image or any type of video. But it seemed to be working fine, if I used it without the battery being plugged in, so which gives you an indication of battery issue. I called the Lenovo helpline to resolve my problem. The person didn’t seem to be of any help and I had to go through the agony of being kept on hold for more than half an hour. Upon calling the helpline second time my complaint was lodged and was given a complaint no 7005470943. But I will have to wait for another 2 days in order to use my laptop.
The next day I received a call from Lenovo, stating that my city pin-code was incorrectly entered by the Lenovo executive. Due to which my earlier complaint had to be cancelled and a fresh one had to be made. This meant that I will have to wait till the early next week for the technician to visit my place.
My point here is, if I am facing such issues with the laptop and the lethargy of the Lenovo service within 3-4 days of its delivery, I am very much petrified about its usage in the coming days. All my daily work has been stuck, thanks to the faulty product being shipped to me.
I want this issue to be settled ASAP. I would also like to make it a point that it will be beneficial if the product is being replaced and a new piece is being delivered.
