PRESTIGE GAS STOVE ARE LIKE BOMBS
make sure it doesn’t happen with anyone anymore
I am a house wife and I want to make sure this doesn’t happen with any other person working in kitchen..
I was a proud owner of prestige 4 burner black glass top gas stove and was preparing lunch for my family when this prestige stove blasted,
it was like a bomb exploding in front of me. The glass was shattered and glass pieces flew like anything.
At first I didn’t understood what happen but then I have realized that I got hurt badly in my hand, and got scratches in my face. and even my small 4 month old baby that was in his rocker far away from me in the dining area also got scratches in his face. I did not expected this from a such a “PRESTIGIOUS” Company!!!!
I am from Italy actually living with my husband in Ghaziabad, India and it was first time in my life i witnessed such things, and such poor quality glass. ( you can see it in the pictures )
It is just a thick glass painted with black and attached to a foil.
We tried calling the complaint center hundred ‘s of time but they will respond in a very low manner and when I have asked them to please let me talk to a senior manager, they hang up on me or they say they can’t do it. They were just saying sorry and then saying that they have registered the complaint and I have to wait for the Service Center to contact me ( something that never happened )
One stupid girl also told me glass can’t be broken by itself, you surely broke it.. and then I have told her that I have done my research in internet and found more than 30 complaint facing the same problem as me ( attached the the screenshot )
When I have tried to call the Service Center, They won’t respond the call or when they do, they have kept us on hold and left us there.
The way this company is giving its services is really under graded, I don’t understand how this gets quality check passed. I mean such products come to our home, our family!! I don’t get the how their conscious are allowing them to sell such dangerous product to the citizen!!
Finally, I took numbers from internet and called the corporate office in some hope for explanation of this deadly weapon (GAS STOVE BURNER) at my home, they said this happens only because of cleaning of GAS.
UNBELIEVABLE, REALLY that is what I would say, we can’t even clean our gas now ?
I was really shattered by how the things work in this company in India and I feel dissapointed with it.
I was trying to call each number I found on internet from morning ( incident time ) till the next day to get my gas stove changed.
I even threten them to take them to sonsumer court and calling the media, Their answer was : “that is your choice MAM!!”
I some how managed to get my glass part changed, They were trying to make me even pay for it but I really stood up and made them do it for free! But still I don’t feel safe cooking anymore.
A wife spends half her day in kitchen and this is mental harasment and mental torture as I have to cook on same stove which had blasted on me and hurt me on my face, hand and my son’s face also.
Every day while sweeping some glasses are coming out from different parts of my home.
In my heart I have decided I will never buy PRESTIGE products again in my life and I am determined to send this message across globe to all families so as to ensure every ones safety.
PRESTIGE IS SELLING BOMBS NOT PRODUCTS.
If some glass went in my son eye and has lost his sight or someone else gets hurt more than I got or even worse What if someone dies by this bomb blasting stove, I would like to ask PRESTIGE “WILL YOU TAKE RESPONSIBILITY” ?
