Poor Product Quality – Not expected from LG India

We had bought a LG Plasma 42 inch TV around 3 years back, infact this was the 1st time we bought a LG product. The TV was working absolutely fine till the day one evening when there was a loud explosion kind of sound and it shut down.

Post this we logged a complain at your Customer Care

– The service levels were poor as the Engineer came only after a few days
– Mentioned that some power point has a problem and would take some days to order & the cost would be appox 5K + repair charges
– It came after almost 10 days THAN, he replaced the part but still the TV did not work, than he mentioned the TV screen has gone and a replacement with cost close to 18K to 20K, when we asked for reason he mentioned voltage fluctuation which I disagree as no other appliance has had issue so far…TO ME IT CLEARLY POOR QUALITY PRODUCT
