Dear Sir,

SUB: Pending medical bills for reimbursement from last 1 year

I am a senior citizen and was retired from my services of IPGCL on Dated 31 Oct 2011 as a Head Pharmacist. On dated 14 Dec 2011, I approached medical advisor/ CMO, Pension trust Rajghat power house New Delhi with the written request for the permission to get treatment of my wife Smt Shashi Bajaj suffering from serious chronic diseases at Escorts Hospital Faridabad (non- panel hospital) from where she was getting treatment for more than 6 years and the permission was granted.

After the period of 6 months of submission of bills of the above mentioned hospital, I got a letter (with the head UPC & date 12 -9- 2012 ) on dated 31 -10 -2012 from the office of Assistant Manager (finance) Medical Reimbursement (pension trust) mentioning that the treatment has been obtained from a non -panel hospital. When I contacted AM Finance Medical Reimbursement ,Mr. Malhotra, he returned me four number of my bills amounting Rs 51135/- and told me that the bills can’t be processed as the permission for getting treatment granted by Medical Advisor (PT) is of no use.
After that I met Secretary, Pension Trust with the written request for the necessary relaxation and explained him all the consequences. He assured me that he will consider my case sympathetically.

Sir, on dated 22-2 -2013 after the period of more than 3 months of the request , when I contacted Mr. Malhotra AM Finance PT and enquired about the status of my bills. He behaved very rudely and told me that my pending bills amounting Rs 51135 are lying with him and he has no time to process the same. Moreover he threatened me to go any-where for the reimbursement of these bills. I felt, he needs unduly favors from me to clear my bills, which I am unable to fulfill because of limited financial sources.

Sir I am a retired person & already facing hard days due to the financial limitations and the serious sickness of my wife and my bills are pending since approximate 1 year without any action.
So you are requested humbly to kindly look into the matter, so that I may get my dues at the earliest as per the rules.

Please let me know if you require any other information.
Eagerly waiting for your response.

Kind Regards,
Vinod Kumar Bajaj
