I had been to a bar & restaurant “FORK N CORK” and was charged with a bill of 1440,V.A.T amount of 103.60,Service Tax @ 3.71% of 53.00, Service Charge of 72.00 with a round off of 0.40 giving a net total amount of 1669.00. We asked regarding the reason for a service charge inspite of service tax but were not given a proper reply and were forced to pay the bill by the hotel authorities.
