Parts theft by Neosa Electronics Kolkata

I was on a trip to India when my Sony laptop stopped working. I took it to Neosa Electronics at Kalighat area, Kolkata on 15th July 2015. They submitted for check and I was told that they will call me back to discuss the problem and budget for repair.

I didn’t receive any call so I visited the shop again on 17th July 2015. I was told that motherboard is not working and it will take 15-20 days for repair. As I didn’t have that much time I declined for service and took it back after paying the relevant service charge of 225₹.

Today I took the laptop to a shop here in Thailand and when they opened in front of me there was no hard disk and RAM. Both were stolen already by Neosa Electronics employees. This is a big cheating by the Sony authorized service center.

Now I have lost all my data and study materials which was in the hard disk. Here I also have to prepare my reports and assignments which I can’t do.

I want a strict action against them and recovery of those parts, delivered to me at no charge and a fine for the trouble they have given to me.
