Owner of the flat is denying to give back the deposite

Name of company/service: Flat on rent

We took flat on Rent in Karve Nagar,Pune for the period – Feb, 2011 to Nov, 2012. Now the owner of flat is denying to return the deposit we gave was Rs. 30,000. Earlier the owner use to give some excuses but now he clearly deny to return the deposit.
