I am a mobile user of airtel from last 10 plus years.I have observed that companyoverbill in various forms.Howit happens-1)Hello tunes will get associated even when you do not ask, and than do not dissociate even you complain about it.2)Bill patterns and plans changes every now and than and you only have to get surprised for increased bills,when you go to there outlet they say sir you have to complin on consumer helpline 121.On 121 you have to waste at least 20-30 minutes everytime whenever you call them and this is chargable too.
3) Biggest loot is on 2G/3G services.
Recent example I had faced is -I bought one set of Nokia Lumia 710.along with this 3G services for 4 months are free.immediately airtel has leavied a penalty of 2000 rs.on enquiring they said sir This scheme has been closed and you will be charged for this.Further on complining with Nokia shwroom they have taken them to task and shown the proof that many other connections of this model has been provided this service free of cost by Airtel.Than finally they said that service will be on within next 36 hours.Service has been started.But I had to pay Rs. 2000/- for no fault of mine.On further enquiring company said sir you have used 2G services,while I had never opted for 2G or 3G or any other G but I had to pay Rs.2000and further Rs.2000will be there demand with this month’s bill.Can somebody will TRAI or any other agency will look into the matter.If the company has foulplay with 10 lakh customers which they can easily do.The amount of everymonths loot is of the amount 200 crore per month.
