I had taken Personal loan of Rs. 70,000/- in year 2007 were my EMI was Rs. 2700/-. In the year 2008 I lost my job and the payment got delayed but i still made sure i make my payment for couple of months it got delayed, some month i made double payments.
I cleared this loan in 2010. i called HDFC customer care asking for final letter they said it should come to me in some time.
now in the year 2012 in received a letter stating that i need to pay Rs. 10,000/- towards my Personal loan, when i enquired they said its the late fees which i had to pay.
Now bank is charging me late fees for 2 years. please i need help because if they had told me in 2010 i would have paid harly any late fees.
